Over the past week, our 501(c)(3) organization, HopeMill, has been hard at work, providing desperately needed relief to the communities in Western North Carolina impacted by Hurricane Helene. The response has been nothing short of amazing, and we are so grateful for the support we’ve received from people near and far.
Thanks to your contributions, we’ve been able to deploy aid in near real-time, reaching small, isolated communities in dire need of medical supplies, baby essentials, food, and water. Our team, volunteers, and pilots have worked tirelessly, touching down in places that had no option but to wait for help—and we’re cutting through the lines to assist. This week alone, we’ve delivered supplies to Elk River, Newland, Spruce Pine, Boone, and beyond.
The resilience of our mountain neighbors is truly remarkable. Despite everything they’ve been through, they greet us with smiles and gratitude. Our mission is clear: continue delivering life-saving aid to these communities for as long as they need us.
HopeMill’s grassroots efforts have turned into a vital force in disaster recovery, and this wouldn’t be possible without you. Your donations are fueling helicopters, planes, and trucks, and every dollar is being deployed directly to those in need—no overhead, no salaries, just action. Our volunteers, heroes in every sense, are working day and night to fulfill this mission, and we are humbled by their relentless dedication.
As the road to recovery continues, we promise to be there every step of the way—helping our neighbors rebuild their homes, reopen their stores, and restore their lives. Your continued support is crucial, and we cannot thank you enough for standing with us.
We’re here for the long haul, and together, we can make a lasting impact. ??
