And the ARMIE goes to ....?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? Zimmer Design and Manufacturing, LLC for Company of the Year in the small company category (50 employees or less). Congratulations to Zimmer Design and Manufacturing President Adam Zimmer on being named the Small Company of the Year! From humble beginnings in a garage during the pandemic, manually machining cigar ashtrays, stands, and tubes,—the business has seen a 60% growth from last year. They've doubled their employees, added shifts, and expanded from 4,000 to 8,000 square feet. The average age of their employees is 30 years old. They purposefully hire for attitude and train for skill, allowing younger individuals to learn to be machinists and programmers with very little past experience. This is truly a company on the grow, and certainly one to watch!
