This year’s panel features three extraordinary Olympians who will share their powerful stories of leadership, perseverance, and overcoming adversity. Their journeys are not just about athletic achievement. They are about breaking through self-doubt, facing setbacks head-on, and finding resilience in the toughest moments. Tyra Gittens ?? – Representing Trinidad and Tobago on the global stage, Tyra has earned her place as one of the most versatile athletes in track and field. But her journey has been anything but easy. From injuries and a difficult suspension to falling short of qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics, she’s faced countless setbacks. Still, Tyra remains committed to carving her own path forward, proving that confidence isn’t built through perfection. It’s forged through resilience, perseverance, and the courage to keep showing up. Alice Merryweather ?? – Alice spent nine years on the U.S. Ski Team, competing at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics and becoming a Junior World Downhill Champion. Behind her success is a journey marked by challenges, injuries, an eating disorder, and the overwhelming pressure to be perfect. Now retired, Alice is using her voice to inspire others to embrace self-compassion and find strength in their most difficult moments. Her message is clear: confidence grows when we honor our whole selves…flaws and all. Courtney Thompson ?? – As our host for the evening, Courtney will guide us through a night of empowerment and inspiration. A two-time Olympic medalist, she understands the pressure of competing on the world’s biggest stage and how to lead with authenticity, courage, and vulnerability. Now serving as Head of Pro Integration and Co-Director of Youth Coach Development at League One Volleyball (LOVB), Courtney mentors pro athletes and youth coaches, empowering them to lead with confidence and heart.
