Zevtron is hosting Fire suppression for EV vehicles in garages. Starting in 15mins....
Following numerous presentations on EV charger solutions in garages and the growing use of lithium-ion batteries, there is a lot of confusion on how to deal with the hazards when they fail and go into thermal runaway.?In this presentation we will talk about Encapsulator Agent meeting the NFPA 18A (The Standard for Water Additives for Fire Control and Vapor Mitigation), and key on Section 7.7 (The Spherical Micelle Stability Test).??Explaining why it is so important to understand this technology. We will review third-party test results from around the world, some of the testing is referenced in NFPA 18A Annex A 4.3 Will talk about different technologies in comparison.?Help participants understand the term Encapsulator Agent so they know what a TRUE Encapsulator Agent is per NFPA 18A Section 7.7.?Will end with information on extinguishers and fixed fire protection system.
