?? Last week, the ZETA Education Fund hosted a two-day event in Reno, Nevada highlighting the significant industry investments that are creating jobs and economic opportunity in the region. We were excited to welcome federal, state, and local stakeholders to celebrate Nevada’s role as a leader in the EV and battery supply chain. The event included tours of Panasonic Energy of North America, Redwood Materials, and the Lithium Americas Corp. Technical Center, as well as a panel featuring Representative Mark Amodei (NV-02), Redwood Materials Founder and CEO JB Straubel, and Panasonic Energy of North America President Allan Swan, moderated by Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) Executive Director Thomas Burns. If you're from Nevada or know a Nevadan, you often hear the phrase "Home Means Nevada." But what does that really mean? Our recent event in #Reno, NV, reminded me of exactly that. Home means community. Home means families. Home means jobs. Home means fighting for what you believe in, especially when it means a more resilient, domestic energy sector. We heard from mayors, CEOs, utilities, state and federal representatives zeroing in on the same message: the #EV market is making new opportunities for residents all across the state. ZETA hosted our annual fly-in this week, as we welcomed executives from 22 companies representing the entire EV?and battery supply chain to DC, including representatives from critical mineral producers, battery manufacturers, OEMs, charging companies, electricity providers, and battery recyclers. During a busy two days, we met with nearly four dozen Capitol Hill offices to discuss growing the EV and battery supply chain in the United States, and maintaining American EV manufacturing dominance in global markets.
