After AMPECO and Zerova Technologies USA announced our completion of comprehensive OCPP 2.0.1 testing last week, I spent half a day discussing strategy, go-to-market, and future opportunities with Manny Huguez, HIMANSHI MITTAL and the rest of the Zerova crew at their HQ in Fremont. The future is bright. Its always insightful to see actual operations, understanding where our partners are investing and focusing their efforts. Zerova’s focus on building customer trust is closely aligned with AMPECO’s brand promise, which means we are working towards the same goals. OCPP 2.0.1 adds a number of improvements to OCPP 1.6J including ISO 15118 which enables Plug & Charge, Vehicle to Grid (V2G), more smart charging, and necessary security protocols. Our team puts OCPP to the test, with strict validation, extensive certification processes, and a lot of real-world use cases to make sure any CPO using us with Zerova will be happy with the results, now and going forward.
