Welcome back Mike!? We’re thrilled that Zero Founder and Executive Chair Mike Maser has returned to the CEO role.
Hey all ?? -- I'm excited to share that I've returned to Zero Longevity Science as CEO. I’m barely two weeks in, but i’m more energized than the first days of founding the company back in 2018. It helps that we have an awesome team that’s welcomed me back with open arms :) A lot has changed in the health and wellness space since we started Zero seven years ago. Metabolic health, once a niche space, has become a mainstream movement. We've witnessed a surge in consumer self-advocacy, fueled by easier access to clinical interventions like at-home lab tests and GLP-1 drugs via telehealth. Comprehensive health information is now easily accessible through podcasts, and with an explosion of wearables, biometric data is pervasive. Coincident with these trends, AI is poised to revolutionize how we approach health, and the industry is buzzing with new entrants. At the same time, it also means there's more noise than ever before. Of course there will be a lot to figure out and no shortage of challenges. But we have a few unique advantages we’ll be leaning on. We've been in the trenches since the early days, building trusted products that people love to use and that deliver real results. We've earned the trust of millions by staying true to our legacy: ? Science-driven approach: we believe in the power of subject matter experts, data and research to guide our product development. ? User-centric design: we craft experiences that are beautiful, motivating, and effective. ? Commitment to innovation: getting back to our roots, we’ll lean on our experience and instincts to stay ahead of trends. I want to thank Tom Conrad for his steady hand as CEO over the past three years and wish him all the best as he leads the Sonos team in their next chapter. I’m grateful he’ll remain on the Zero board, and look forward to our continued work together. With a seasoned team, a proven track record, and a deep understanding of the evolving health landscape, Zero is leaning into a new phase of growth. I'm thrilled to be back in the saddle and working with our amazing investors at True Ventures, Greycroft, Trinity Ventures, our always-supportive individual investors/advisors, and of course our Chief Medical Officer Naomi Parrella MD, FAAFP, DABOM. Time to get to work!
