Their commitment to creating safe, resilient, and inclusive spaces for Black and Brown communities in Portland resonates deeply with our mission. As LaQuida Landford, Executive Director of AfroVillage, shared: "AfroVillage is thrilled to join the ZERO Coalition and merge efforts in creating a safe, resilient, and nurturing environment where Black and Brown communities can heal, connect, and thrive. Through this partnership, we look forward to collaborating with other Oregon leaders committed to decarbonizing the built environment through an equity-focused approach.
