PayTo enables real-time payments directly from customer bank accounts, and sets a new standard for fast and secure payments in the utilities sector. Seeing the business community gather in force after last week's weather chaos was genuinely uplifting. It was another reminder that there are wonderful businesses run by whip-smart people facing unique challenges right across Australia's regional areas. We are proud to be one of them. The always-engaging Dr. Sherman Chan delivered another insightful economic update, and fielded questions from a lively Q&A, before moderating the 'Business Transformation' panel that tapped into insights from Lisa Smith, Ben Pieterse, Joel Jensen and Zepto's own Suzie Slingsby GAICD. We also loved the contributions from Professor Tyrone Carlin from Southern Cross University, Campbell Korff and Oliver Costello from Jagun Alliance Aboriginal Corporation. Super nice, too, to have economics students from local schools in the room, too — a fabulous initiative.
