In December, Harvard Business Review reported on a 2024 survey of C-Suite executives which suggested that “we are experiencing a once-in-a-generation transformational moment, akin to the founding of the internet in the 1990s." ?? The Women+AI Summit aka The W+AI is just ONE WEEK away! ?? ?? The W+AI moved from idea to reality just two short months ago. I put out a call here and on Bluesky (just a handful of posts total!) and within 3 weeks more than 200 women had signed the interest list and more than 40 women had pitched an idea for a talk or breakout session. ?? A small team including Charreau Bell, Ph.D., Carolyn Elefant, and Emily Pavuluri has been working diligently to bring the event to life. And we're able to do it thanks to financial support from Visionary Partner The RayNa Corporation and Pioneer Partner Lawyerist, whose generous contributions make the Summit free for all to attend. As well as the many Supporter Partners LawDroid - Generative AI Legal Technology, Nova Consulting AI, Practising Law Institute (PLI), ZentLaw, Case Status, and Fidu. ?? This rapid response reflects both our concern that AI will further widen the gap for women in tech and innovation leadership AND it reflects the growing passion women have for leading in the AI space. ?? Registration opened on December 26 to The List and on January 2 to the public and we reached max capacity in less than 2 weeks. More than 20 women who pitched will be delivering talks and facilitating breakout sessions. ?? I'm overwhelmed by the response and so inspired by everyone who is contributing by presenting, facilitating, and attending.
