Hi everyone! This is Siril Maurice, SDR at ZELIQ taking over today to share with you my #1 cold-calling tip. ???? If you thought cold calling someone just once is enough — think again. When you’re prospecting, it’s normal for people not to pick up on the first call. They could be busy, in a meeting, or simply ignoring unknown numbers. That’s where the double call comes in ??. Calling back immediately signals persistence and seriousness - not pushiness. But here’s the key: if they don’t answer the second time, don’t keep calling. Instead, leave a short voicemail. Let them know you called - but avoid mentioning your company name (trust me, you’ll get more callbacks). By following up strategically and respecting their space, you increase your chances of starting a conversation. And who knows?
