An #analysis of the final #HOTMA FAQs published today by HUD: Key Points: * Compliance Date is still July 1, 2025; MFH owners may optionally implement sooner (all or none). * TRACS 203A with HOTMA compliance integration is promised and the guide is 'forthcoming'. * Update your TSPs now (according to Notice H 2024-04) and make them available on the property by 5/31. Pre-HOTMA versions will be reviewed until the compliance date. * New and required Model Leases and forms are 'coming soon'. Owners may start using them when available with a 60-day notice to tenants. * Use 2025 adjustments starting 7/1 unless you've opted to implement HOTMA in its entirety sooner. * Safe Harbor Provision: Determine annual income from preceding 12 months using means-tested public assistance programs before July 2025.
