Today, the ZEFES project was presented during the session on Zero Emission Systems for HDV at the RTR Conference! The project coordinators did not only showcase the latest achieved results, but also highlighted some key challenges we are facing in the project. This includes the energy infrastructure, the harmonisation of legal frameworks in the EU memberstates (like the Directive on Weights and Dimensions), and the Digital Twin platforms. We’re pleased to introduce Marcel Huschebeck in our coffee break, a researcher with over 20 years experience at PTV Group, driving research in logistics and decarbonization. ?? ? Marcel focuses on electrifying logistics fleets, fostering collaboration, and decarbonization. He’s also behind the development of PTV’s EV-Route Planner for electric trucks. ?? ? Together with his team, Marcel is leading the user requirements in WP1 and overseeing the implementation of 15 pilot sites that integrate electric trucks and chargers. ?
