Zero Emission Bus Resource Alliance (ZEBRA)
专业组织
ZEBRA is a professional association for transit agencies leading the transition to zero-emission buses.
关于我们
The Zero Emission Bus Resource Alliance (ZEBRA) is a professional association for transit agencies in the U.S. and Canada to share lessons learned about zero-emission buses (ZEBs). Founders envisioned ZEBRA as a group of transit leaders exchanging information without the involvement of manufacturers or outside groups. Since 2015, we have been providing members access to peer information and shared research on clean transit and emerging zero-emission technology.

Next Thursday, November 21, we will host our fourth quarterly ZEBRA Virtual Coffee Break. This session will spotlight a Zero-Emission Bus (ZEB) Transition Planning Guidebook, developed by the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE). This Guidebook offers transit agencies and bus operators practical, step-by-step guidance for developing their own zero-emission transition plans, including best practices and common pitfalls to avoid. CTE subject matter expert and Guidebook author, Niki Rinaldi El-Abd, will be available to members during this session to provide an overview and answer questions. The guidebook will be available for download the week of November 18 on CTE’s website. ZEBRA Coffee Breaks are informal sessions where members can discuss key topics with transit peers and industry professionals. Don’t miss these opportunities to learn, engage, and share knowledge! Email [email protected] if you are interested in joining this session or would like to learn more about ZEBRA.

We are thrilled to share that ZEBRA member, Foothill Transit, has been awarded a $16.89 million grant from the California State Transportation Agency Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP)! This funding will support the purchase of 30 hydrogen fuel cell buses, enhance traffic signal priority for existing lines, and introduce a new line connecting local communities to key transit hubs. Foothill Transit continues to lead the way in zero-emission public transportation, with the largest fleet of hydrogen buses in the nation. We are proud to have Roland Cordero, Director of Maintenance and Vehicle Technology at Foothill Transit, as the ZEBRA Executive Chair. Roland’s leadership is invaluable as we work together to drive sustainability and innovation in transportation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Congratulations, Foothill! ?? ? #ZEBRA #FoothillTransit #HydrogenBuses #CleanEnergy #Sustainability #PublicTransit #ZeroEmission
