The Madison LakeWay brand is coming to life! Sasaki
Here’s a look at a few things we’ve been working on for everyone participating in the Madison Marathon this year! The Madison Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K run/walk is on November 10. All races begin and finish on Capitol Square. An expo is held on the Friday and Saturday prior to Sunday's race day. The Madison Marathon benefits 45 local charities and non-profits annually, raising $122,350 the past five years. See you on race day! ?? #MadisonLakeWay #MadisonMarathon #BehindTheScenes

How many hours do you spend in your "away-from-home" workplace? Overall, workplace hours in North America remain among the highest in the developed world. That begs the question: what does my employer do to create an engaging, evocative, team-based environment to inspire us all be our absolute best? This Veterans Day ZEBRADOG is proud to share our Gold Star Honor Roll project for the?University of Wisconsin-Madison?to honor the school’s fallen student service members and tell their stories of sacrifice and heroism. Made possible by a gift from the classes of ‘63 and ‘67, the goal was to define what war and service mean. The result is a moving archive and resource allowing visitors to explore and learn the stories behind the hundreds of men and women who died in conflict. An interactive exhibit is located within the entry of the Memorial Union and there is a companion website for even deeper exploration from afar. The original and electronic Honor Rolls are named for a tradition that began during World War I; when a family had a spouse, son or daughter in the service, the family displayed a card with a simple blue star in the window. If the service member passed away in active duty, the card was replaced with a gold star. This tradition continues today. And so does the tradition of honoring these fallen UW-Madison heroes in Memorial Union. Links below to explore the Gold Star Honor Roll.
