Alder 9 Zavala Corporation We are thrilled to introduce the Alder 9 project, where Zavala Corporation was given the opportunity to participate on placing and finishing all the flatwork for structural building for all levels up to the roof, Including supply of concrete materials and Concrete pumping equipment, a transformative initiative aimed at addressing the pressing housing challenges faced by our community. This project will provide 159 much needed living units, creating a welcoming environment where families can thrive and call home. I had the pleasure of meeting Hugo Zavala founder of Zavala Corporation and a co-founder of LatinoBuilt at Zavala’s North Portland shop. I have huge admiration for Hugo and his story, which to me, embodies the American Dream. He has built a leading, all union-based team, construction company specializing in Structural and Architectural Concrete. On top of that, Zavala Corporation is a registered union training agent that supports local apprentices in skill development and actively engaging with the community.
