Roger Zatkoff founded Zatkoff Seals & Packings in 1959. Roger began supplying products to manufacturing companies located near Detroit and Toledo. His philosophy included exceeding client expectations with hard work and high-quality products. This customer-focused attitude paid off - his small business attracted many new clients. The personal approach of a family-owned business is practiced daily in the values, ethics, and leadership of all Zatkoff Seals & Packings employees. We continue to uphold Roger’s original vision. And hard work and quality products have grown our business beyond the borders of Detroit and Toledo. Zatkoff Seals & Packings today is the largest independent distributor of seals in North America. Zatkoff Seals & Packings employs over 180 people at eight locations across three states. One location manufactures various die cut shapes from a full range of non-metallic materials and offers the ability to supply most materials with an adhesive backing. You’ll find our sealing systems solutions backed by over $25,000,000 in inventory and nearly 200,000 international part numbers. Our Customer Service department strives to exceed client expectations in all aspects of our business. We train our staff on the latest in seals and sealing technology. We work as a team, providing a knowledgeable and experienced link between you, our customers, and qualified seal manufacturers. Our dedicated employees provide superior products, exceptional customer service, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing. Our Quality Management System ISO9001 certified at all Zatkoff locations. In some instances, O-ring extrusion damage is described as “nibbling,” where small pieces are torn away from the seal. Nibbling typically occurs as the result of pressure fluctuations in the system, where increased pressure creates a larger clearance gap, allowing the seal to extrude. After the pressure reduces, the seal returns to its original shape, but small pieces are eroded away as the seal escapes the gap. As the cycles continue, nibbling repeats and the seal eventually fails.

Our Indy branch is proud to support Madison County Community Music (MCCM) for the first time! This local organization inspires people of all ages to explore the musical arts. With donations like ours, MCCM has grown tremendously, teaching over 120 students (ages 11-84), building a library of 100+ songs, and planning their first "Raven Music Festival." We’re honored to help offset tuition for students who can’t afford it and support MCCM’s mission of spreading confidence, hope, and joy through music. Here’s to making music together!???
