Here at Zapmap we're enjoying watching BBC's Amandaland — albeit with some mixed feelings around Amanda's EV ownership! It's great to see EV driving being normalised, but is the portrayal unnecessarily negative? Living in an upstairs flat with no home charging, Amanda highlights the inequalities faced by those EV drivers with no off-street parking. She seems seem to be having a steeper than average adjustment to charging effectively and we certainly don't endorse her attempts to boost her battery using a three-pin plug for a few minutes at a time. Whether she lives in Harlesden or Hounslow (there seems to be some debate about the location of SoHa!), Amanda would eliminate a lot of her charging stress by downloading the Zapmap app and checking out the available near home and on street charging options, or community sharing options with Co Charger.
