Aerospace startup Moya Aero is partnering with global simulation company Altair to accelerate the development of its eVTOL and unmanned aerial vehicles. Moya Aero, which aims to tackle logistics challenges with autonomous cargo aircrafts, will use Altair’s HyperWorks design and simulation tools to streamline its design process, cut down on prototyping costs, and bring its aircraft to market faster. “By leveraging current technology trends and utilising Altair solutions, we are not just positioning but pioneering our company to lead the cargo UAV market,” Alexandre Zaramela, Founder and CEO of Moya Aero, told Zag Daily. Vulog has launched a “hands-on” carsharing management service for large mobility actors, such as OEMs and car rental companies. “We’ve learned that technology alone isn’t enough to succeed,” Vulog CEO Gregory Ducongéé told Zag Daily. “This is why we’re taking it a step further. Oslo is doubling its shared e-scooter fleet from 8,000 to 16,000 vehicles. The City Council has also voted to extend permits for operators from one to two years, with the new rules to take effect from 1st April 2025. “The cap takes the amount of scooters per operator from 2667 to 5334, which improves the commercial equation for operators. It does this while bettering the offering for Oslo’s citizens in low-density areas by improving transit availability for bus stops that are few and far between,” Fabian Paasche Enges?th, Associate at Oslo-based mobility consulting firm Movability, told Zag Daily. The U.S. state of Colorado is to build 81% more bike lanes by 2035 as part of a new active travel pledge outlined in a Transportation Vision framework.? A key goal of the state’s Vision 2035 is doubling the number of trips made by cycling, walking, wheeling, or transit from 9.6% to 19.2%. “The goals proposed in Colorado’s Transportation Vision 2035 are ambitious and bold,” U. British startup MOSA has launched a new app-operated, smart bike dock trial in London to tackle theft. Supported by a £100,000 grant from Innovate UK, Mosa has installed 20 of the battery-operated and weather-sealed docks across London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford City.
