Composite sampling is suppose to be a simple application but yet a lot of times, vendors/contractors or even end user themselves make the process to be complicated. Composite sampling has been around for more than 30-40years and it role is to capture “Representative Sample” over a period of time on application such as custody transfer, allocation etc. So does our sampler met in according to international standard such as API14.1, 8.2 or ISO3171??? Definately the answer is yes! But bear in mind in that thick standard, it consist a lot of other elements and sampling is a small portion to that. Do not complicate it. Over in Malaysia this week for crude oil sampling FAT. We had did a localization with other important consideration built in it as we tackle waxy crude. Indeed a fulfilling and successful week. Attaching a picture of a typical crude oil sample from our YZ grabber. Contain a % of water in the collected sample(as shown). so, will buyer be keen to pay the price of water content in according to crude oil price? Think about it…. YZ, we believed in manufacturing product that is simple in operation and understanding especially to operator mending the systems. complex system will result to long down turn..
