As we celebrate this season, we thank you for your continued support to #EliminateRacism, #EmpowerWomen, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. While the greater culture of gratitude is the one with which we identify, today, we acknowledge the history of Thanksgiving has historically been revised to erase indigenous voices. Today, and every day, we honor Indigenous voices, leadership, guidance, and resistance in dismantling racial injustices in our systems as we dismantle all systems of oppression. Today, we give thanks for those who help us continue moving our mission forward.

Native American women, on average, are paid approximately $0.60 for every dollar earned by White, non-Hispanic men. Over the course of a 40-year career, this wage gap costs them $986,240 — nearly $1 million. On #NativeWomensEqualPayDay, we stand in solidarity with Native communities, advocating for fair pay, workplace safety, and comprehensive economic protections. Join us in amplifying the voices of Native leaders and call for policy changes that make a real difference. #NAHM #nativeamericanheritagemonth

Join us in recognizing International Day for Tolerance. Tolerance isn’t passive—it’s an active stance to eliminate racism, empower women, and build stronger, more inclusive communities. It means recognizing and celebrating diversity, standing up against hate, and creating a space where every voice matters.

Today, as we cast our ballots, let’s take a moment to honor the generations of women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote. Their courage and resilience opened doors for us to use our voices and make a difference. At YWCA Greater Cincinnati, we stand for peace, justice, and dignity for all—and voting is one way to uphold these values in our community. Your vote is your voice. Let’s continue the legacy of those who came before us and make our voices heard. #YourVoteYourVoice
