We are so very proud to announce that Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic has stepped in to preserve Maternal Fetal Medicine services for women with high risk pregnancies in Central Washington! The loss of local services in the Yakima Valley would have forced patients to travel to Seattle or Tri Cities for care, and we felt the need to step in and retain as much of the program as possible until a long-term solution presented itself. ACH's Board of Directors, which represents leaders from some of the nation's largest community health centers, convened in Chicago last week to discuss innovative policy and advocacy initiatives that will advance the delivery of health care to underserved communities. The result was a passionate, informative, and insightful discussion that will drive the future of our collective, ground-breaking work and meaningfully impact health policy. We are so grateful to our Board who took time out of their incredibly busy schedules to share information with us, and each other.
