As we continue celebrating hashtag#WomensHistoryMonth, Weingart Foundation is proud to highlight Youth Action Project (YAP)—a Black woman-led organization creating pathways for young leaders in the Inland Empire. With a bold vision and deep community commitment, YAP empowers youth through transformative programs, hands-on training, and paid work opportunities that break down systemic barriers. By nurturing leadership and fostering skill development, they are shaping the next generation of changemakers. "We ignite the potential of the young people we serve by offering hands-on training, personal development, and paid work opportunities that dismantle systemic barriers and champion social justice," shares Tremaine Mitchell, Executive Director of YAP. "By nurturing leadership and fostering skill development, YAP enables youth to achieve personal success while driving change in their communities. Together, we’re paving the way for a more equitable, solutions-driven future, and we’re proud to partner with supporters who share our commitment to systemic change and inclusive prosperity."
