?? Exciting News! Youth Action Project (YAP) is partnering with IYAI+ to bring the Innovation Challenge to young adults in San Bernardino County! ?? What’s the IYAI+ Innovation Challenge? A national competition designed to empower young leaders (ages 18-25) to tackle real-world transportation, sustainability, and infrastructure challenges. Participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and career exposure while competing for national recognition. ?? Why Should You Join? ? Build your leadership & problem-solving skills ? ?? Happy Holidays from YAP! ?? As we reflect on an incredible year, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and empower the next generation of leaders. This year, Youth Action Project (YAP) made meaningful strides in creating opportunities for growth and success: ? 112 youth completed our Customer Service Cohort, gaining essential workplace skills. ? 43 youth enrolled in the YLinc Business & Beyond Program, taking bold steps toward entrepreneurship. ? 950 students thrived through @sbcusd_exl SBCUSD Expanded Learning programs in afterschool enrichment and summer school. At YAP, our mission is to inspire youth through tailored mentorship, skill development, and economic opportunities, ensuring their potential drives meaningful change in our community. ?? Holiday Reminder: Our offices will be closed on 12/24 and 12/25 for the holidays as we rest, recharge, and celebrate the season. ?? Thank you for being part of our journey this year. Together, we’ve made a difference, and we look forward to achieving even more in 2025! ??

Last month, 15 young people completed our customer service training program! ?? They walked away with a nationally recognized certificate and a $100.00 VISA gift card ?? as a reward for their dedication to personal growth. We’re so proud of their hard work and commitment to leveling up their skills! ?? Let’s celebrate their success and continue to create opportunities for growth and achievement. ??

?? Shoutout to Lovely, our incredible AIMS AmeriCorps member, for being part of the inspiring "?????????? ???????????? ?????? ????????????????????" journey! ?? Lovely joined four other young adults from?#SanBernardinoCounty?to connect with local professionals and gain invaluable advice on building a meaningful career right here at home.
