As Director of Orchestras at Ronald Reagan High School, Mr. Elizondo has inspired young musicians for over a decade, growing a thriving orchestra program recognized at the region, state, and national levels. His leadership extends beyond the classroom, having recently served as President of the Texas Orchestra Directors Association, championing music education across the state. With a career spanning 25 years as a performer and educator, Mr. Elizondo’s dedication to his students and the arts is truly remarkable. When she’s not helping students find their place at YOSA, Enrollment Manager JD Garcia is making music herself! A classically trained vocalist, JD will take the stage with the San Antonio Mastersingers for Carmina Burana alongside the YOSA Philharmonic. Originally from Rockport, Texas, JD holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with an emphasis in choral pedagogy. She is passionate about creating a welcoming space where students can be themselves and develop a love for music.
