Special thanks to YACD’s overseas WISE Zambia partners of Kaoma, Zambia. Professional leadership training of our third cohort of seven talented youth is now finished as this month! Special recognition to YACD trainer Ethel Mukombo, WISE Program Executive Director Maggie Indopu & the seven carefully selected youth who successfully completed YACD’s curriculum winter training.
YACD is excited to continue to sponsor our college care kit package vision initiative in 2025. Eight YACD Zambia college students through our partnership with WISE Zambia have received a six month supply of washing detergent, groundnuts, noodles, deodorant, toothpaste, toilet tissue, soap & lotion & essential feminine products for women. YACD is proud of our former graduates & their ongoing commitments to pursue their post secondary educations.
YACD is proud to support (5) of our last year’s Ugandan high school program graduates with 2nd semester college care kits. Each individual student has received a six-month supply of washing detergent, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, tissue, lotion, noodles, groundnuts (peanuts) & monthly feminine care products. These products will sustain them through the second half of their freshmen year. YACD is also in the process of funding similar college care kits to (8) former YACD Zambia graduates this month. We are grateful for these two overseas partners in Code High School of Seeta, Uganda ???? & WISE Zambia of Kaoma, Zambia. ???? A few weeks back, the YACD non-profit successfully launched a program in it’s 5th country on the continent of Africa. This new partnership is with the Alleluia International School of Guinea Conakry, West Africa. Newly appointed YACD Instructor John Morlove Camara is now training fourteen gifted senior high school students professionally through twenty sessions of YACD’s leadership & career development curriculum. This training will take place each Friday on Alleluia International School’s campus grounds in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa. Huge congrats to each of the selected youth!!
