With over 25 years of experience in leadership development, organizational management, and training, Wil brings extensive expertise as an executive leadership coach and consultant. Wil's background includes 21 years of service in the US Navy, retiring as a Command Master Chief in 2011. Following his military career, he spent 14 years in the nonprofit sector, serving as the Development Director of the Union Gospel Mission Spokane and later as the Executive Director of Genesis Institute. Academically, Wil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Historical Studies from Chaminade University, a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University. In his personal life, Wil is married to his high school sweetheart, Yvonne, for over 30 years. They have three adult children, Michael, Ashley, and Morgan, as well as three grandchildren, Elanore, Grace, and Duke. Welcome to the team, Wil!

Joseph comes to Leader’s Edge with fifteen years of leadership experience in engineering/manufacturing, nonprofit, and international contexts. Joseph lived in Latin America for almost ten years, where he founded and led a nonprofit organization, completed his PhD in Leadership research, and consulted with a variety of businesses and organizations. His primary interests include building high-performing teams, helping leaders uncover their blind spots and lead effectively, building positive responses to conflict and helping teams work through challenges, and challenging leaders to lean into humility as they influence others. As I contemplate my latest trip around the sun I always like to take an inventory on the lessons I've learned and pass on what might be valuable to some. Here are nine thoughts on what I've learned about life...so far. 9. Don't waste a pain - You will make mistakes and collect scars. Make the best possible use of them and learn. 8. Be curious - Ask questions, actively listen and be open to growth. 7. Be courageous - Life is too short to live in the corner and not explore what you might be capable of. Bet on yourself! 6. Be generous - With your time, praise, energy, and resources. Plant seeds and harvests will come your way. 5. Forgive - As quickly as you can release the bitterness of the wounds of others. No sense drinking battery acid in the hopes it hurts someone else. 4. Teach - The best way to keep learning is to invest in others. The next generations need your wisdom. 3. Surround yourself with smart people - Whatever success I've had is because I learned from others. If you are the smartest person in the room...you are in the wrong room. 2. Champion Others - People will never forget how you make them feel. Help others feel like they can do anything. 1. Live for something/Someone bigger than yourself. If you're living just for yourself your life is far too small. Do any of these challenge or ring true with you?
