Over the past few months, she’s made a great impact on our team by leveraging her software engineering skills to experiment with various growth strategies. As her internship comes to an end today, we want to share her reflections on this journey: Neha Bhatia's Internship Experience at Yourco: "As someone who has spent most of my career in software development, stepping into a Go-To-Market Intern role at Yourco was both exciting and a bit daunting. I was eager to explore new challenges, and this experience has been nothing short of incredible. One of the key projects I tackled involved generating mid-market leads through platforms like LinkedIn and UpLead. I didn’t just gather data—I applied my technical skills to web scraping, which allowed us to target the right audience more effectively. This hands-on experience with CRM tools also taught me a lot about how businesses use data to identify and reach potential customers. This internship offered me a fresh perspective on the importance of marketing in a product’s success. While I’ve always been focused on the technical side, I now see how closely software and marketing must work together. I learned that strategic and creative marketing efforts are what truly bring a product to life. It was also fascinating to discover how software can further enhance and automate these marketing processes. Overall, this experience not only expanded my skill set but also deepened my appreciation for the critical role marketing plays in a product’s journey.
