We hosted our first group ketamine journey last weekend with two amazing Certified Group Psychotherapists: Amanda Yoder and Connie Ittner, LCSW. We are looking forward to building upon this awe-inspiring inaugural experience. Having this depth of individual exploration held skillfully in the group space can truly be transformational. #psychedelictherapy

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Nelson Holmes, an Integrative Psychiatrist, to our team at Your Wellness Practice! Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Nelson Holmes graduated from Texas A&M University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where he also subsequently completed his residency in psychiatry, during which time he treated patients across the Houston and Galveston area. He received additional training in psychotherapy at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Houston, where he completed a two-year fellowship in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. In his practice, Dr. Holmes emphasizes a holistic, patient-centered treatment philosophy which focuses on each individual’s unique needs and incorporates both medication management and psychotherapeutic approaches. He is passionate about novel therapeutic interventions, such as ketamine, ketamine assisted psychotherapy, and transcranial magnetic stimulation, in the treatment of mental health conditions. Dr. Holmes is currently accepting new patients.
