?? Sembrando Semillas ?? Last Saturday, we piloted YLN’s Youth Civic Engagement program, where high school Juniors and Seniors discussed ways to make a difference in their communities! ???? Led by the amazing Anastasia M. They explored what it means to be involved in democracy—from voting to community service, advocacy, and using social media to raise awareness. They also engaged with local leaders for suggestions on how to engage community members. ??????INVISIBLE NO MORE?????? In just four weeks, Somos Cuyahoga has connected with over 900 Latine voters! ?? This incredible achievement is all thanks to our hardworking canvassers and electoral team. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far: ? 153 new Latine voters registered ? 1,200+ pledge-to-vote cards collected ? 81 vote-by-mail applications submitted Our team has also made nearly 12,000 outreach attempts through door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and community events across Wards 14 and 13. But we’re not done yet! Our campaign runs until Election Day, with a goal to boost the Latine vote by 3%—that’s about 400 more voters! ?????? Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/ew59p-RR

??We are excited to announce that Natasha Lopez has joined our team as our new Administrative Assistant.?? Natasha is a Junior at Cleveland State University, pursuing a degree in Social Work. She has been actively involved in community outreach since 2021 in Cleveland's Ward 14, specifically the Clark-Fulton and Stockyards neighborhoods, where she also resides. ?????? As the proud daughter of a Mexican father and a Puerto Rican mother, she deeply values her cultural heritage and the community she serves. ???????? ?Bienvenida Natasha!??
