Learning Journeys are one of the most impactful ways for Young Global Leaders to connect with critical global challenges and understand them in a local context. These immersive, peer-led experiences allow participants to engage directly with changemakers, innovators, and leaders on the ground—helping them gain fresh perspectives and actionable insights for their own leadership journeys. Just last week, the YGL 2025 India Learning Journey brought together a group of over 60 Young Global Leaders, from 30 countries to explore India’s unique leadership challenges and opportunities across governance, technology, and social impact. From dialogues with policymakers to site visits with grassroots innovators, the journey provided an invaluable look at how leaders navigate complexity in one of the world’s most dynamic regions. This journey also reflected the mission of the Forum of Young Global Leaders: to cultivate responsible, bold, and impactful leadership. By fostering connections, encouraging collaboration, and providing firsthand insights into pressing global challenges, experiences like this empower Young Global Leaders to create meaningful change in their communities and beyond. Last month, we proudly welcomed the 2025 YGL Mastercard Fellows—an extraordinary cohort of women leaders shaping the future of education, technology, and finance. With the support of the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, this fellowship is dedicated to empowering women leaders from emerging markets, elevating their voices, and ensuring they play a central role in shaping global conversations at Davos and beyond.

Last month, we welcomed close to 500 Young Global Leaders to Singapore for our milestone 20th anniversary Summit and two transformative days of dialogue, connection, and vision-setting to tackle global challenges. Our discussions centered on four crucial pillars: - Leadership for Technological & Innovative Stewardship - Leadership for Equity, Inclusion & Unity - Leadership for Nature & Climate - Leadership for Health, Well-being & Resilience From leveraging AI for societal good to advancing climate action and championing inclusive growth to revolutionizing healthcare approaches, our community demonstrated unprecedented commitment to driving positive change. The Summit exemplified what we've known for 20 years: when diverse, purpose-driven leaders come together, extraordinary things happen. This week's Annual Young Global Leaders Summit is off to an inspiring start thanks to the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong and the Government of Singapore. Themed "The Future of Leadership", the global summit gathers world leaders from government, civil society, business, arts, academia and media. Singapore is glad to host the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders Summit for the first time. This is the 20th edition of the programme. Each year, WEF selects around 100 young leaders under the age of 40 from all over the world. This year, we are proud to have two Singaporeans - MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin and international human rights lawyer Natasha Latiff! It was good to engage not only the current batch of young leaders, but also the alumni from previous cohorts. It’s a diverse and vibrant community of changemakers - everyone creating a positive impact in their own ways, and doing their part for a more inclusive and sustainable world!
