The Andrew and Walter Young Family Branch YMCA is part of the YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta which has served the Atlanta area for more than 150 years. The YMCA cause nationally and locally is to make a difference in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Young Family Y's goal is to be an effective community change agent, especially for socially and economically challenged youth. Our driving mission is to assist our communities and the diversity of families and individuals who live in them to reach their highest potential in body, mind and spirit.

On Friday, November 8, TeamSmile partnered with the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta United FC, Atlanta Falcons, and other sponsors to provide free dental care to underserved children in Atlanta. Hosted at the Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA, the event featured local dentists, professional athletes, mascots, a DJ, and face painters, creating a memorable experience for all. Children received essential dental services, from cleanings to extractions, thanks to nearly $700,000 in onsite dental equipment and supplies provided by TeamSmile, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting dental health.
