Congratulations, Josh Feldman! Thank you for all that you do to support and sustain the work of nonprofits! YANY is forever grateful for your board service and partnership!
I am thrilled to announce that Urban Arts will be honoring Josh Feldman and NBCUniversal at our upcoming Color Ball for their unwavering commitment to Urban Arts and the nonprofit sector. Since our partnership began in 2020, NBCUniversal has connected more than 100 of our students with industry mentors and opened doors to life-changing opportunities. This year alone, NBCU employees helped our students access $3 million in college scholarships—a testament to their dedication to shaping the next generation of innovators. At Urban Arts we teach digital game design as a pathway to college and career. Urban Arts’ after-school game design program—complete with coding, animation, storytelling & music—leads students to pursue multidisciplinary college degrees. This surprising approach is moving the needle for computer science education access, economic mobility as well as the future of industry. Beyond his leadership at NBCUniversal, Josh has made a lasting impact through his service on the boards of the YMCA of Greater New York Letters Committee and Young Audiences New York. With a deep-rooted passion for education, Josh has been a driving force in expanding opportunities for young people—ensuring that talent, not circumstance, defines their success. Join us on April 10th. Meet Josh and our amazing students. Many thanks to Kimberly King, Hilary Smith, Jessica Clancy and Samantha Cammarata for being the wind beneath our wings.
