Meet Lane Cardoso. Lane is a Junior at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo majoring in Accounting. He is from Patterson where his family has a small almond orchard that he helps maintain and farm. He takes an active role in the orchard’s development and the harvesting process. In his free time, Lane enjoys anything that keeps him active like golf, working out and pickle ball. Lane will be interning with YFC’s Accounting department. Overall, Lane says the family-like culture and outstanding reputation within the agricultural environment drew him to Yosemite Farm Credit. He says, “I am looking to have exposure to multiple areas of YFC’s daily business transactions to gain a better understanding of where I would like to see myself upon graduating.” We are excited to welcome Lane to the YFC team. #YosemiteFarmCredit #FarmCredit #YFC #SummerInternship

Meet Madeline Freitas. Madeline recently graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Agriculture Education. Madeline grew up on a small ranch in Oakdale where her family raised Quarter Horses and other livestock. She began raising Boer Goats when she was 12 and eventually became involved in the show circuit with ABGA. She also participated in 4-H and FFA throughout her childhood and high school years, fueling her passion for agriculture. In her free time, Madeline enjoys hiking and kayaking with her dog, snowboarding, and spending time with her family. ? Madeline will be interning as a Loan Officer Trainee in the Oakdale Branch. Overall, Madeline says she was drawn to YFC because she wanted to explore the finance side of agriculture and has heard the wonderful reputation that YFC has for its quality work environment and employees. She is looking forward to learning even more about the vital role the central valley plays in the agricultural industry.
