November 15th is America Recycles Day! As we take this week to celebrate, we want to remind you that there is more than one way to recycle! Here are just a few ideas: -Repurpose or resell unwanted items that are in good usable condition? -Compost food and yard waste -Donate gently used clothing, shoes, and furniture It’s important to dispose of trash in the proper way and to recycle whenever possible to maintain a healthy planet. For more information on recycling, visit https://lnkd.in/eSrwcuXW . #keepyorkcountycleanandsafe?

The website mentioned opens a link to a survey we created to gain knowledge about how those who live and work in York County perceive the YCSWA and what they would like to see in trash management in the future. Take the survey now! You only have until the end of 2024! Visit https://lnkd.in/ee_PeAwF to read the full media release about this survey. #keepyorkcountycleanandsafe

We had great weather for Hauler Appreciation Day. Last week, YCSWA and Reworld Waste showed our appreciation for our trash haulers and other customers with coffee and doughnuts, along with lunch from Killer Eats and small gift of our appreciation! To make the day even more exciting, President Commissioner, Julie Wheeler, and Vice President Commissioner, Scott Burford, joined YCSWA staff to serve lunch to the haulers. Thank you, trash haulers, for the work you do each day to keep York County clean and safe. #keepyorkcountycleanandsafe
