We are now 3 months into the build at our first development in the city of York, one of the most financially inaccessible places to live in the UK. Designed by and for the people that will live here. Built to passivhaus standard and using sustainable materials wherever possible. The houses will be delivered at a sector leading 70% of the open market price, and with locked-in restrictions for any future on sales, allowing for generations of York residents to find somewhere to call their home. There are so many individuals and organisations to thank for the forward thinking, brave and simply transformational legacy support that YorSpace Community Land Trust has received in allowing this pioneering, visionary project to finally come to life.
