Yesterday marked the official grand opening of the "AI House" at Pier 70 in Seattle, a collaborative initiative spearheaded by the Seattle Office of Economic Development (OED), AI2 Incubator, Washington State Department of Commerce, and Ada Developers Academy. The event drew key figures, including Mayor Bruce Harrell, OED Director Markham McIntyre, Yifan Zhang, and Tina-Marie Gulley, all of whom emphasized the AI House's critical role in positioning Seattle as a leading hub for AI innovation and economic development. The initiative aims to foster collaboration among various stakeholders, including community leaders, founders, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and AI talent, to drive the future of AI technology in the region. A cornerstone of the AI House's mission is to ensure diversity and equity in the AI sector, a focus prominently highlighted by the involvement of ADA Developers Academy. Tina-Marie Gulley, CEO of ADA Developers Academy, spoke to the importance of including underrepresented communities in the AI field, stating, "AI, when shaped by diverse voices, can transform the world for the better." Gulley also emphasized that "AI is not a neutral force" and its impact will disproportionately affect marginalized communities, stressing the necessity of inclusivity in its development. ADA Developers Academy, which has trained over 1,300 software developers, primarily women and gender-expansive adults, aims to dismantle barriers to opportunity through workforce development programs and embed AI literacy into its curriculum. The AI House also serves as a launchpad for innovative AI startups like Yoodli, an AI-powered role-play tool and speech coach. Derek Sessions, CTO of Yoodli AI Roleplays, described the AI House as an ideal environment for emerging companies, offering "a great place for a company like us getting our start, to be surrounded by interesting collaborators, all thinking about AI." Sessions highlighted Yoodli's goal to be a "Grammarly for speech," illustrating the practical applications and potential impact of the AI technologies being developed within the AI House. Yoodli's presence underscores the AI House's role in supporting and nurturing early-stage AI ventures, providing a collaborative space for growth and innovation. Overall, the opening of the AI House signifies a substantial step towards establishing Seattle as a global leader in AI technology, with a strong emphasis on ethical development, diversity, and economic growth. The collaborative efforts between public and private sectors, coupled with the involvement of organizations like ADA Developers Academy and innovative startups like Yoodli, reflect a multifaceted approach to fostering AI innovation in the region. The event highlighted the potential of AI to solve real-world problems and benefit society, while also addressing the critical need for responsible AI development and policy.

Revenue Strategy and Enablement Executive | Helping CEOs & CROs Build High-Performing GTM Teams | Host: The Revenue Insiders Podcast

Sales onboarding is broken... For years, companies have accepted 3-6 month ramp times as just the way things are. But in 2025, that’s no longer sustainable. Gartner reports that 25% of organizations will update their onboarding programs with GenAI this year—and if you’re not one of them, your reps will fall behind. AI isn’t just a nice to have anymore—it’s fundamentally changing how sellers learn, apply knowledge, and get up to speed. Here’s how: ? AI Role Play – Reps practice talk tracks with AI and get real-time coaching—no more waiting on a manager’s schedule. ? AI Tutors & LLM Search – Instant answers + just-in-time learning = reps who don’t waste hours digging for info. ? Automated SOPs and Bite Sized Training – Time-sucking SCORM builds? So 2024. AI now creates training materials instantly. ? AI Agents in Sales Tech – Personalized follow-ups, next-best actions, and automation that makes new reps productive faster. ? AI-Powered Coaching for Managers – No more guessing—AI pinpoints exactly where reps need coaching. But the big question: Where do you start? I put together five critical AI-driven onboarding upgrades you can make right now—no overhaul required. ?? Read the full breakdown here: Curious—what’s the best AI-powered onboarding tool you’ve seen actually work? Drop your favorites in the comments! ??

President & Co-Founder at Yoodli - AI roleplays for sales training, manager coaching, executive communications training

Most teams say they’re “experimenting with AI.” But what does actually effective AI adoption in GTM orgs look like? I’ll be diving into that at Emblaze Revenue Summit in Denver - sharing how enterprise teams are using Yoodli AI Roleplays to transform GTM training. What’s working, what’s not, and how to avoid the fluff. Some things I’ll unpack: 1) The surprising ways AI is being used post-onboarding for coaching and reinforcement 2) Where we’re seeing ROI (and where things still fall flat) 3) Real examples from the field—what leaders at Google, Databricks, and Sandler are doing differently Big thanks to Corporate Visions and Emblaze | Revenue Community by Corporate Visions for powering this must-attend event for sales, enablement, and revenue leaders. Hope to see you there! ?? ?? Register here: https://cvi.to/summit #revsummit25 #emblazegrowth #salestech #airoleplays

President & Co-Founder at Yoodli - AI roleplays for sales training, manager coaching, executive communications training

Thank you for the nomination of Startup of the Year at the GeekWire Awards! This one hit differently ?? When Varun Puri and I started Yoodli AI Roleplays, our goal was simple: help people become confident communicators in a safe, judgment-free space. Fast forward to now—and we're seeing our AI-powered roleplays being used by hundreds of thousands across sales, leadership, coaching, and more. What this nomination means to us: 1) It’s a moment to pause and celebrate our incredible team, who’ve built with heart, grit, and crazy speed. 2) It validates that AI can amplify human potential—not replace it. 3) It reminds us that building something meaningful > building something shiny. If Yoodli’s ever helped you prepare for a tough conversation, nail a pitch, or just feel more confident showing up as you—we’d love your vote ?? ? ??? Vote here: https://lnkd.in/eTP_nyEq ? President & Co-Founder at Yoodli - AI roleplays for sales training, manager coaching, executive communications training

Last night, we hosted our first Yoodli AI Roleplays x The Revenue Insiders enablement dinner in Seattle—I left feeling really energized and grateful! A few reflections from the evening: 1?? Seattle’s enablement community is growing fast. SF and NYC often get the spotlight, but there’s incredible talent and momentum here. We were lucky to have folks from Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Google, DocuSign, Highspot, Unify, and more join us—each bringing thoughtful perspectives and ideas. 2?? Enablement is playing a key role in driving AI adoption. With teams needing to move faster and scale smarter, enablement is stepping into a more strategic seat—especially with the rise of genAI across GTM. 3?? AI roleplays are resonating. It’s been exciting to see how teams are using them beyond onboarding—think coaching, assessments, and continuous skill-building. Huge thanks to Kelly Lewis and Tiffany Jones for helping bring this to life. Grateful for the conversations and hoping this is just the beginning ?? (If you’re in the Seattle enablement space and want to get involved, would love to connect!) President & Co-Founder at Yoodli - AI roleplays for sales training, manager coaching, executive communications training

Hiring at a fast-growing startup is a journey. And like all good journeys, it’s full of unexpected lessons. Early on at Yoodli AI Roleplays, we optimized for firefighters only—people who could jump into any crisis, wear multiple hats, and thrive in ambiguity. These were the scrappy, resilient folks who did whatever whenever to get the job done. But as we’ve grown, I’ve realized that firefighting alone isn’t enough. Scaling requires people who can transition from solving chaos to preventing it—those who can take ownership, build the playbook, and improve it. Two qualities have stood out in our best hires at our current stage: 1) Integrity without compromise—They do the right thing, even when no one’s watching. 2) Growth firefighting mentality—They tackle problems head-on, but with optimism and ownership to make it better for their colleagues. The tricky part? Identifying these traits in an interview. We’ve found that behavioral questions help: 1) “Tell me about a time you went beyond your responsibilities to solve a problem.” 2) “Can you share a moment when you faced an unexpected challenge and how you handled it?” Every hiring cycle is a chance to refine our approach. While integrity is non-negotiable, we’re learning the difference between hiring firefighters and hiring those who can build—and rigorously follow—fireproof systems. With this in mind, we’re hiring for a few roles - VP of Sales, product manager, CSM, backend and engineer! If this sounds like you (or someone incredible you know), please reach out—ideally via a warm intro over email. Appreciate any recommendations. #startups #hiring #leadership #growth
