I’m a wellness coach who helps busy professionals manage stress and improve their overall wellness. My focus has been on supporting individuals with simple, accessible tools to improve their health, particularly those with desk jobs or chronic back pain. After spending over a decade in demanding corporate roles, including at Amazon, and living in six different countries, I experienced firsthand the toll that stress and a sedentary lifestyle can take on the body. Yoga, which I had loved since childhood, became an essential tool for me to regain my physical and mental well-being. During the pandemic, I began sharing this practice with others, and it grew into a small venture. While my passion for wellness remains strong, I’ve also developed a deep appreciation for managing projects, leading teams, and creating structured programs—skills I am now focused on bringing back into corporate roles. This period of entrepreneurship has given me valuable insights into project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving, which complement my background in project and program management.     Last Friday became extra special for me! ? Never would I have imagined a year ago that THIS is how I'd celebrate International Yoga Day (21st June), especially as someone who's a bit camera-shy. I led a global yoga, breathwork, and meditation session with participants from 18 countries.     Feeling tight and achy from sitting all day? This gentle yoga pose with legs-up-the-wall is your new best friend! Here’s how to do it: 1. Find a wall and touch your knees right up to it. 2. Legs back and place your feet flat on the wall, hip-width apart. (**Not forearms!**) 3. Now lift your chest up and Straighten your arms as much as comfortable, or bend them if that feels comfortable. 4. Gently press your head towards the wall, feeling a stretch in your lower back and quads. 5. Engage your core by lifting your abdomen slightly, creating a gentle arch in your lower back. 6. Relax your shoulders and breathe deeply for 10-15 seconds. 7. Repeat 3-5 times daily to feel the difference! Benefits for office workers: ? Improves posture: This pose helps lengthen the spine and counteract the hunched position from sitting all day, leading to better posture. ? Reduces tightness: It gently stretches the hip flexors and lower back muscles, which tend to tighten from prolonged sitting. ? Increases blood flow: By elevating the legs, this pose can help improve circulation and reduce aches and pains. ? Boosts relaxation: The gentle stretch and focus on breath can help release tension and promote relaxation, reducing stress. ?? Who can do this pose?
