Excited to kick off the 2024/2025 Real Estate Pathways mentorship program today! Through a partnership between YMWREA, Trust for Governors Island, Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation, and REBNY (Real Estate Board of New York), we aim to provide mentoring and workforce development for senior-year CUNY students, striving to diversify the commercial real estate industry in NYC. Our YMWREA mentors are paired with local college seniors to offer career and life guidance as they prepare for their future in commercial real estate. Today, we were inspired by current YMWREA Chairman James Nelson, who shared valuable insights on the Insider’s Edge to Real Estate Investing. We also had the opportunity to tour the new office space and amenity center, including the outdoor terrace at 150 East 52nd Street, thanks to Sean Kearns and Josh Turman.
