Welcome to our Dogpatch YMCA community at Crane Cove Park! Yesterday, we celebrated the opening of the YMCA of Greater San Francisco's 15th location with our Y leaders and community partners (AO Board Member Caryl Welborn, Enrique Landa with Associate Capitral and The Power Station, AO Board Chair Gina Gregory-Burns, MD, Bayview YMCA's Advisory Board President La Shon Walker, Supervisor Shamann Walton, YGSF President & CEO Jamie Bruning-Miles, Executive Director Tacing Parker) and community partners (Executive Director Elaine Forbes with The Port of San Francisco, Dogpatch Neighborhood Association, Potrero Boosters, Dogpatch Paddle). San Francisco's Mayor Daniel Lurie shared the excitement with us while taking a tour the space. There's many things to check out and explore in our new facility and so, come on down and join us! We did it! Last Friday, Urban Services YMCA and Buchanan YMCA officially launched our Western Addition Family Resource Center (FRC) food pantry with our longstanding partner, SF-Marin Food Bank.
