关于我们

The YMCA of Snohomish County has been serving and strengthening our communities since 1901 and has the long-standing relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change. The Y offers programs, services, and initiatives to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation’s health and well-being, and provide opportunities to give back and support neighbors. Our cause and passion is to strengthen our communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We support our communities through six membership branches, dozens of child care locations and youth development program sites, and an affiliate relationship with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County. The Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the community's health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors. The Y is for everyone. We believe that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, welcomed, confident, connected, and secure.

Big things are happening at YMCA Camp Casey! The original gym floor has been beautifully refinished, the office exterior has a fresh coat of paint, and major work is underway on the pool, including mechanical systems, plumbing, and resurfacing, ensuring it's ready to make a splash when it reopens this summer! Stay tuned for more updates!

  • Congratulations to our five YMCA Mock Trial teams on their outstanding performance at the district competition! A special shoutout to Mukilteo Purple for taking 1st place and Marysville Gold for securing 2nd—both advancing to the state competition in March! Mock Trial is more than a competition—it builds confidence, critical thinking, and leadership skills that teens carry for life. A huge thank you to the dedicated staff and volunteers who made this experience possible. Next up, the state competition in Tacoma!

  • What an incredible way to begin this new chapter on Whidbey Island! ?? We gathered for the first-ever YMCA Camp Casey Community Kick-Off, bringing together neighbors, families, and local leaders to celebrate our vision for this special place. We introduced what the Y is all about and how it will be expressed at Camp Casey -- youth development, outdoor adventure, and community connection. We shared the excitement of Camp Casey becoming a place where kids can grow, learn, and belong. And, we experienced the overwhelming support of the Whidbey Island community. A huge thank you to everyone who showed up! Together, we are creating something truly meaningful. Stay tuned for what’s ahead!

  • Braving the winter weather, Youth and Government students from YMCA of Snohomish County and Whatcom Family YMCA gathered at YMCA Camp Casey to prepare for the 78th Youth Legislative Session in May at the State Capitol! For some students, it was their first experience debating bills and speaking in public. Stepping up as future leaders, they embraced the challenge, discovered their voices, and built confidence through thoughtful discussions. It was inspiring to see both new and returning students collaborate, support one another, and grow together. We look forward to seeing all that they achieve this spring in Olympia!
