Ground is broken on phase 2 of Camp Crosley YMCA YMCA of Muncie. The lakeside village will be replaced with new cabins and will be ready for summer 2025. “The Y has been here for more than 145 years, adapting and adjusting to meet whatever the most pressing needs are in the community, and this new facility is going to allow us to evolve again to provide new services," says Chad Zaucha, president and CEO of the YMCA of Muncie. YMCA of Muncie's new, $31 million facility will not only include traditional YMCA amenities, but will also have dedicated spaces for a broad continuum of youth services, workforce development programming, and a Federally Qualified Health Center that will serve more than 11,000 patients annually. It’s not often that we get to celebrate two of our members at one time! We were thrilled to help celebrate Flat Land Resources and the YMCA of Muncie's new office spaces. The building is nestled in the McKinley Neighborhood and has been carefully restored and given a new life. Another project topped out for the books! ?? We recently celebrated a new milestone by topping out at the new Muncie YMCA! This event marks more than just the final beam in place; it's a step closer to bringing this exciting community project to life. ? A huge thank you to everyone who joined the celebration and to our team of field specialists and project partners. Your hard work and support helped us reach this crucial phase of construction. ?? The YMCA of Muncie proudly announced the groundbreaking ceremony for the much-anticipated early learning forest, now officially named Wonder Woods. The event, marked by the planting of over 200 saplings, symbolizes a monumental step toward enriching the educational experience of young learners in our community.
