    Hey everyone! ?? It’s been a hot minute since my last hashtag #LinkedInCheckIn, but folks, do I have some exciting news to share! ?? Welcome to Post #6 of my hashtag #LinkedInCheckIn series! ???? DRUMROLL PLEASE ???? I’m thrilled to announce that Arizona Stories: Border, Water, and Politics has been nominated for the 44th College Television Awards! ??? My incredible classmates and I are buzzing with excitement as we gear up to represent Montclair State University and the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University in April! Huge shoutout to Steve McCarthy and Thomas E. Franklin—your support and mentorship have shaped me into a stronger producer, director, and writer. Thank you to the Television Academy Foundation for spotlighting young media talent—I can’t wait to connect with fellow student creatives at the ceremony! ?? In addition to that thrill, I’m super excited to share that I was back on set last month for the School of Visual Arts thesis film, Fireworks, produced by my amazing friend Joanna Downing! ?? I had the privilege of stepping into the role of Director of Photography, and even though I’m a Montclair State girlie, collaborating with the fabulous talent coming out of the School of Visual Arts was an absolute blast! I can’t wait to unveil the final product in Spring 2025—stay tuned! Operating a solo media company presents its challenges. At Ymages Productions, LLC, I'm committed to continuous learning, which is why I actively seek collaboration with industry veterans to enhance my skills and excel as a business owner. Just last month, I teamed up with 3 Chicks That Click Photography to document the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County's 150th anniversary at the Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury! ?? Huge thank you to Alyse Liebowitz for letting me be part of such a special occasion. On a personal note, I’m stoked to share that I got my second stripe in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! ???? The icing on the cake? I’m stepping up as an Assistant Coach for Garden State Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy! ?? A heartfelt thank you to Chris Ulbricht for bringing me on board.     Welcome to post #3 of my #LinkedInCheckIn series: Here's what my last two weeks have looked like: 1. Emely Alba and I have been traveling around NYC recording our new series, "immi for lunch." I had a blast recording and editing our first TikTok: https://lnkd.in/eMUyP4vC ????♀?????????? I also got to record some "Ramen on the Street" content: https://lnkd.in/eqJcRKXB ?? 2. This week, I assisted Megan Maloy on a photoshoot. It was great working with seamless backgrounds and strobes again. Inspired by the experience, I’m planning some personal photoshoots. 3. The Content Collective Club is ready to host another month filled with content creation education! Recording starts next week! 4. An update on my Brazilian jiu-jitsu training: I earned my first stripe! Each class boosts my confidence... I can't wait to see my progress in a year. ?? 5. Lastly, I’ve been binge-watching National Geographic's series, "OceanXplorers." The technological advancements and research highlighted in the show are incredible. The Hololab is fascinating, and the deep-sea footage is breathtaking. Being a cinematographer for a documentary like this would be a dream!     I find it a bit challenging to update my LinkedIn daily, do you? My solution: I'm creating this little catch-up series called, "LinkedIn CheckIn." Every two weeks, I will post a summarized recap of what I've done since the last time I posted on my timeline. I want to share the awesome people I have worked with and note what I have accomplished so far. So, welcome to post #1 of my LinkedIn CheckIn: 1. At the end of May I graduated summa cum laude from Montclair State University with a B.A. in Film and Television. All semesters throughout my four years I have landed on the Dean's List, a goal that I am proud to scratch off my list. 2. I landed an internship with the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium as their Digital Communications intern. Since May 15, I have photographed many events/studies, created promotional/recap videos, and designed informational graphics for the non-profit. You can find them on their socials... give them a follow! 3. I worked with Sarah Miller, Owner of Dry Martini (clothing company), to record BTS of Megan Maloy's photoshoot. I have since used that footage to create look reels for the website. Congratulations Sarah on the new store opening in the Grand Central Terminal! If you're traveling in the city, visit it. And also, a shout-out to Megan Maloy for giving me this experience. 4. Starting this coming week, I am joining as an instructor for the Content Collective Club! I will work alongside Alyse and Stacey helping our students gain confidence and skills in social media content creation. 5. Last, but not least!
