In a world driven by metrics, this approach can seem surprising. Yet, there are valuable lessons behind this mindset. 1.- Vision Over Metrics: Some CEOs prioritize a broad vision over narrow metrics. McKinsey's "Metrics That Matter" highlights how an over-focus on KPIs can stifle big-picture thinking and innovation. 2.- Flexibility: Harvard Business Review's "The Risks of Relying Too Much on KPIs" discusses how strict KPI adherence can limit agility.
