YESCO Sign & Lighting Service Leaders can set Alerts to be notified when specific metrics cross thresholds that they set. Notifications are received via email, as well as in Tableau; and can be set to come to a single user, or multiple. Data alerts are a great way for users to keep key metrics in front of themselves, as well as other management team members that they designate. From their inbox, report images can be clicked as a shortcut to the live report, forwarded to others, as well as downloaded. Create Alerts Sample screenshot outlined below: A. Select Icon To set up a new alert, select “Alerts” in the top menu bar. B. Select Axis Select the y-axis of the metric you wish to set the alert for in the report. In the side menu, select “Create”. C. Set Conditions In the popup menu, specify “Condition” & “Threshold” (i.e. when you will receive an alert). D. Customize Email Add “Subject” (i.e. the alert name). Select alert frequency from the dropdown menu. E. Select Recipients Tag other alert recipient(s) if desired by typing @[Insert Tableau Display Name] in the identified box. F. Create Select “Create Alert”. Manage Alerts Sample screenshot outlined below: A. Select Icon To adjust, update, or otherwise edit a previously created Alert, select “Alerts” in the top menu bar. B. Select “Actions” In the side window, select “Actions” on desired Alert. C. Update Update Alert as desired (i.e. remove, edit, change, etc). Login to your Tableau Account to check them out! All of our Tableau reporting is stored in quick-access Tableau Collections, organized by management area. YESCO Sign & Lighting Service Leaders can keep each Collection private, share selectively with individual managers, or grant carte blanche access to their whole management team (provided they each have a Tableau User License). Collections provide a curated reporting experience. They make it easy to delegate the right reports to the right users, without oversharing. They also make it easy for each user to find, access, and use their reports, without sifting through everyone else’s. Owner Collection: The Owner Collection contains all reports pertaining to YESCO Sign & Lighting Service Franchise owners. Reports focus primarily on financial performance of an owner's Tenant (entity) and Locations; compared to benchmarks, the network, and individual peers. Operator Collection: The Operator Collection contains all reports pertaining to YESCO Sign & Lighting Service operators. Reports focus primarily on operational performance of Tenants, Locations, and Territories; compared to benchmarks, the network, individual peers, and geography. Manager Collections: There is a Manager Collection for each department of a YESCO Sign & Lighting Service business: Patrols, Routes, Sales, Service, Scheduling, and Billing. Reports focus on the performance of that specific department, its teams, and individuals; compared to benchmarks, the network, and individual peers. Login to your Tableau Account to check them out!
