At Yellow Brick, our People Readiness Services team collaborates closely with your organization's education team to develop a comprehensive New Facility Orientation. This orientation focuses on the unique and different aspects of the new environment. Traditionally, this process is divided into four major phases: New Facility Orientation with Life Safety Training, Champion and Vendor-Led Equipment Training, Department-Specific Training, and Refresher Training. While we often contribute to the development of these plans, it's rare for our team to participate in onsite training and tours. However, last week, our team had the opportunity to support New Facility Orientation tours and Vendor Equipment Training for an outpatient facility in Las Vegas. Experiencing both sides of the process firsthand is incredibly beneficial, as it allows us to better understand and guide our client partners in implementing these programs. What valuable advice would you offer for conducting a successful New Facility Orientation?

What does it take to open a 26-story, nearly two million-square-foot facility?? Check out this feature article from NBC4 on the beautiful new Inpatient Tower at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. We are honored to be a partner of the Activation Team since 2023 and look forward to entering our Activation Phase of the work in the coming months. Meticulous plans, attention to detail, and collaboration with end users have led us to this point and as the old saying goes, the best is yet to come. Kudos to the entire organization for this recognition! #HealthcareInnovation #OSU #CommunityImpact https://lnkd.in/g_wZj3Hg

As part of our YB Well employee wellness initiative, our team gathers monthly to share tips and tricks for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Since its launch in 2024, this program has been a highlight for our team, offering a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the healthcare environment. In February, we were thrilled to welcome our first special guest, Dr. Yogi Matharu, Associate Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy and Associate Chair of Physical Therapy Clinical Services at Keck Medicine of USC (see center of photo). Dr. Matharu delivered an engaging presentation on posture and musculoskeletal health, which our team greatly appreciated. A big thank you to Jennifer Prom and Meg Yoho for launching this fantastic program, and to Dr. Matharu for providing our best presentation yet. Here's to a year of wellness and to the healthiest YB team ever! ?? #YBWell #EmployeeWellness #HealthyLifestyle #TeamYB #HealthcareHeroes

February 28th is Rare Disease Day, a global event dedicated to raising awareness about the unique challenges faced by those with rare diseases. Yellow Brick’s Christina Olivarria is actively involved with the Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California. She has participated in events like the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk, where she and her team raised funds to support children with bleeding disorders. Christina's dedication is personal, as her son was diagnosed with severe Hemophilia A at birth. With the advocacy and commitment of volunteers like Christina to the 300 million people worldwide living with rare diseases, their families, and caregivers, we gain strides to better understand, treat, and support rare disease patients. #RareDiseaseDay #ShowYourStripes #HealthcareEquity #SupportRare #Advocacy?
