Youth Entrepreneur Institute (YEI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth from underserved communities in Washington, DC, through entrepreneurship, creativity, and STEAM education. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by equipping the next generation with the skills, confidence, and resources to build businesses and create economic opportunities. Through hands-on programming, students explore business, arts, STEM, and social impact while developing real-world skills in financial literacy, product development, and leadership. YEI’s programs—including Smart Hustle, Smart Hustle Jr., BizBeauty, Artpreneur, and Smart Hustle Abroad—offer transformative experiences that help youth identify their natural talents, launch ventures, and navigate pathways to success.
