"You can use your voice even if it shakes." Olympian and maternal health advocate Allyson Felix took the stage at #IHIForum for a conversation on the changes that are needed in the medical community to ensure pregnant women of color receive proper care. She spoke passionately about finding the courage to come out against longtime sponsor Nike, who offered her a 70% wage cut and refused to honor the basic maternal protections she requested during her pregnancy. Allyson was an inspiration to us all, showing us that peace and resolve lie on the other side of fear.
