Yark Automotive Group, alongside 13abc, was proud to lend a helping hand to the Aranjor family. In early January, the family experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed the second story of their home in Wauseon. Thankfully, Oscar and Arely Aranjour and their two children got out of the home safely- but the family lost many of their belongings. After the fire, the family stayed in a hotel for some time, and have now moved into an apartment while they rebuild. Yark Automotive Group is proud to be named one of The Blade’s Top Workplaces in NW Ohio and SE Michigan for the twelfth year in a row! Employees were surveyed about workplace culture, company leadership, employee benefits, productivity, employee connection, general performance, communication, and overall satisfaction, among other issues. The results of the survey were then compared to like-sized companies to determine the winners. Thank you to all of our employees who helped us to gain this recognition!

Yark Automotive Group, alongside 13abc, was honored to lend a helping hand to Stephanie Baez. In April of this year, Stephanie had an injury that led to her being diagnosed with a rare syndrome affecting her automatic nervous system. She has been treated with conventional medicine, gone through physical therapy, and now has traveled out of state for advanced treatment. Yark was grateful for the opportunity to gift Stephanie and her husband a check for $1,300 to help alleviate some of their medical costs. Yark Automotive Group, alongside 13abc, was honored to lend a helping hand to Kelsey Lyons. In March of 2024, Kelsey lost her husband Brandon Lyons to Glioblastoma. At 38 years old, Brandon was a husband, a father, and a paramedic. To honor Brandon, Kelsey is working to establish a scholarship for people who follow his career path. Yark was proud to have the opportunity to present Kelsey and their family with a check for $1,300 to help put toward the scholarship and continue Brandon's legacy. The Kindness Room at Central Catholic High School is a safe place for students to show kindness and feel loved. The space has crafts students can use to show someone else they care or provide comfort.
