A national high-impact nonprofit with global partnerships that provides community-based services as an alternative to youth incarceration and child welfare and behavioral health placements. Good News Friday ?? Chemung County, NY Advocate Nicholas Rosenbloom took two program participants bowling and to lunch at Pudgies Pizza during Winter Break. The outing provided participants with peer interaction, skill development, support, and fun. Advocates help connect youth and their families to education, emotional and economic resources. YAP is in 33 states and Washington, D.C., partnering with youth justice, child welfare, behavioral health, education, public safety, and other systems to deliver community-based alternatives to youth incarceration, residential care, and neighborhood violence.
