Yama offered the first ever gasless mint on ETH, thanks to Komet ?? Yama Wrld is India's first anime project in the web3 space. And to access this virtual space, users need to mint a Citizen Pass NFT. ?? Now, the total supply of these passes was 500. So if users were to pay the gas fee while minting all those Citizen Passes, the overall gas paid on ETH network to mint these NFTs would’ve been 15K -18K USD as per the Gwei heat map analysis on the mint week! ?? But with the help of Komet, the total gas fee paid during the whole mint was only 3K USD, which is about?70% less gas fee! ? How? Instead of having users mint their NFTs one by one, we opened the mint to users to claim their spot ASAP. ??♂? In the meantime, we were already auto minting the NFTs on the backend. We batched up the mint transactions, processing upto?300 mints in a single transaction! ??♂? And that’s how we were able to deliver a gasless minting proposition to the community, something that has happened for the first time on ETH. ??
